All ponies are already in winter quarters.

Ponies from the allotment in Grodek (Podlasie region) as the last herd, on Friday 10th December — were transported to the grounds near the field station in Kalitnik (near Michałów).

The animals were reunited with a herd of other ptopov horses they hadn't seen since spring. Some are disoriented and try to escape, others quickly find their way in their new surroundings. There are also new individuals in the group to provide “fresh blood”.

Now the ponies will be in the care of volunteers. The animals have already received deworming paste and will have their hooves checked and, if necessary, corrected.

Youth will be accustomed to the presence and touch of humans. At the station, horses are fed hay harvested from our meadows in late summer.
