Gingerbread workshops are behind us.

This year we met in Narew and Puchły, two towns located in the Upper Narew Valley.

We started the workshop with a presentation of the project "Protection of Charadriiformes by means of grazing and construction of small retention facilities

in OSO Nature 2000 Knyszyn Forest and Upper Narew Valley areas, and we watched a short film about preservation of waders. The film was shot a few years ago in a close vicinity, in the allotments in Trześcianka. After this educational introduction, children and adults proceeded to roll out the gingerbread.

Everyone enjoyed lapwings, horses, fudge and frogs. No one complained about the lack of stars and reindeer J and working with colorful icings allowed everyone to get artistic and relaxed. We are very happy to have such committed participants. It was nice to see the works being created in the hands of kids who have uninhibited imagination. Greetings to the 5th graders of ZSP in Narew.  On the other hand, adults at the workshop in Puchły worked in silence and full concentration. Gingerbread is a serious matter.

We invite you next year, this time we plan to organize workshops in the northern part of the project area, i.e. in the Knyszyńska Forest.
