On February 27th we hosted visitors – representatives of the Latvian Environment Protection Fund: Artūrs Tribis and Jānis Vēbers. This Fund and these men are co-beneficiaries of the LIFE Program Capacity Building Project in Latvia (CAP LIFE LAT). We have shown them some of the works performed in connection with our project. At that time, we have just been carrying out a radar monitoring near to Wizna, therefore we had an opportunity to present this unconventional approach to the problem of limiting the birds collision with power lines. The radar in operation and the possibilities it offers made a great impression on the visitors.
