May 15 is the day from when you can start grazing cows in the meadows along the Narew River.

The pastures in Trześcianka (Narew commune, Podlasie region) are beautifully greening up, however, as you can see in the photos, flocks of non-breeding mute swans still reign on our meadows. Greylag Geese stick out their orange beaks to check what is going on and who has arrived in the meadow. Lapwings, Wood Sandpipers, Common Snipes, and Yellow and White Wagtails flock from the grass.
We have already checked the stability of the posts, some have been replaced with new ones, the wire holders have been checked and the wires themselves stretched. The first animals will arrive at the meadows as early as next week.
Especially the cows are already looking forward to this moment, they are bored with hay and it is also boring to mope about in the yard, by the barn. The atmosphere in the herd is getting nervous, the bulls rummage restlessly with a hoof in the ground.
