In the Gródek and Narew are, we are monitoring charadriiformes in two project plots, each about 30 ha in size.
Now nests are being searched for, in the next weeks ornithologists will count the young birds.
At the moment we have 46 lapwing nests in the Gródek are and 20 in the Narew area. We are waiting for the next brood — in the Gródek area we observe numerous pairs of common redshanks and black-tailed godwits, there are also lekking ruffs and great snipes.
