In our area protected by anti-predator fencing, lapwings have already raised young, which now fly with the adult birds.
Juvenile black-tailed godwits, redshanks and common snipes are still hiding in the grass.
Concerned parents are sounding the alarm: "take cover, danger!"
And that's just us, we came to check the state of the fence!
